Zulima’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, as well as domestic and international arbitration, including cases involving insolvencies and bankcruptcies, contractual and extracontractual disputes, along with moral and reparative damages litigation. Zulima counts with an specialism in the Mexican amparo proceeding and has experience in constitutional and human rights matters.

  • She has collaborated with the conciliator and/or receiver (liquidator) appointed by the Federal Judicial Power within the bankruptcies of the companies Perforadora Oro Negro, S. de R.L. de C.V., Integradora de Servicios Petroleros Oro Negro, S.A.P.I. de C.V., Grupo Almos, S.A. de C.V., Servicios Anexos Iantel, S.A. de C.V., ARC Internacional México, S.A. de C.V., Retículas Gráficas, S.A. de C.V., among others.

  • She worked along the comptroller appointed by the Mexican Government within the commercial insolvency proceedings of Compañía Mexicana de Aviación S.A. de C.V. and its subsidiaries Aerovías Caribe, S.A. de C.V., Mexicana Inter, S.A. de C.V. and the maintenance base Mexicana MRO, S.A. de C.V.

  • She represented the companies Biciclo, S.A. de C.V. (currently Turbo Limited, S.A. de C.V.), TGC Ingeniería, S.A. de C.V. within their commercial insolvency proceedings in Mexico.

  • She represents a Mexican academic on a trial regarding moral damages against an international organization based in Mexico as a consequence of defamatory Internet publications.

  • She represents a Mexican citizen within a lawsuit claiming for reparative and punitive damages against the Mexican government as a consequence of irregularities committed within two illegal international extradition proceedings.
